Launched in the fall of 2018 by Founder and Executive Director, Joan Johnson, Reset.Life is a nonprofit 501(C)(3) organization designed to help "women in the middle" navigate personal and professional transitions through life coaching.
We focus on helping women who aren’t in crisis but need help navigating their circumstances. The women we serve wouldn't qualify for government assistance but also may not be able to afford professional services. As such, they often "fall through the cracks." Reset.Life seeks to serve this often overlooked segment of women in our community. Our programs are provided in a welcoming, accepting environment that is forward-focused. We help women of all ages, ethnicities, and education levels.
Located in Green Bay's historic Olde Main District, Reset.Life is supported by a devoted volunteer team and a like-minded Board of Directors who share our passion to help enrich the lives of women in our community. Reset.Life is further powered by a social business, Sunrise on Main Boutique, a women’s resale shop where sales of fashionable, upscale clothing and accessories fund 100% of our operating expenses.
Joan Johnson is the Founder and volunteer Executive Director of Reset.Life, a non-profit established in late 2018 to help women “press the reset button on life.” Joan launched a social business at the same time to support the non-profit. Sunrise on Main Boutique is an upscale women’s resale shop in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where new and donated fashionable clothing & accessories are sold in the Boutique to help fund Reset.Life, housed in the same building.
With an extensive background in the corporate, public, and non-profit sectors, including work as an educator and organizational development consultant, Joan is passionate about helping women navigate personal and professional change, with an emphasis on building interpersonal connection in the process.
Joan graced the cover of Green Bay's “You” magazine in 2016 for her work in women’s empowerment and received two awards in 2020: Management Women's Nancy A. Felhofer Leadership Award and the "Spirit of Main Street" Award given by Downtown Green Bay Inc. Joan has appeared in local media over a dozen times featuring coverage of the social business/nonprofit partnership she launched to serve the "women in the middle" of our community.
Known for her high energy, engaging leadership style, and compassionate heart, Joan is delighted to have found a way to marry her business experience with her desire to make a difference in the community by creating this unique social enterprise model.
Joan serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Downtown Green Bay, Inc., a non-profit representing the district where her venture is located.
She and her husband Denver have two adult children and live in Suamico, Wisconsin, with their English Cream Doodle, Kozmo!
